Moderately good tap selection in a great atmosphere. I echo the previous reviewer's comment that their Red Hook ESB is very well handled. The best Red Hook I've had on tap for sure. Their beer selection really isn't anything outstanding. They have about 12-16 beers on tap - standard micros and imports. As far as beer selection, there's nothing really special, but it's a nice place. If you're looking for a decent beer in a nice environment, you've found your spot. If you're looking for a beer bar, pass this one by.

In Palo Alto this is the local pub where "everybody knows your name." Friendly bartenders who are consumate pros. The Red Hook here is the best I've had anywhere (they're famous for it).

I like the beer selection and food. The service is the worst of many beer places that I've gone to. If you go to eat, you may have to tackle a waiter/waitress to get service, otherwise, sit at the bar.
